Pasture View

Turn out is a very important part of the philosophy at FSF. Every attempt is made to turn ALL horses out together for as long as possible. Frequently we will sperate a new horse with a 'buddy' and gradually phase them into the herd. No horse is allowed to be stalled for any period of time unless medical condition requires or inclement weather poses a safety issue. No horse is accepted without being issued a stall so that when necessity dictates a stall is always availible.

Free to be Natural

Currently all horses at FSF are barefoot and receive barefoot trims. This is not a requirement. Sound on all types of footing the horses are individually considered for which diet, exercise and rehab(if required) is appropriate. The goal here is attain the highest level of sucess and acheivement possible for horse and rider with the least interference or manipulation.
